Working with clients nationwide
We work with clients throughout the United States — many of whom live outside the Bay Area but were referred to us through existing client relationships, or who originally worked with us while living in Northern California and have since relocated. We also work with a small number of clients living overseas.
Geography has never been a barrier to serving clients well. The majority of our ongoing client work — planning reviews, portfolio discussions, tax strategy conversations, and everything in between — is conducted by video and phone. Many of our most long-standing relationships exist with clients we have never met in person.
What to expect from your first conversation
The first meeting is genuinely exploratory. We want to understand where you are and what you’re trying to accomplish. You’ll have the chance to ask questions about our process, our fees, and our approach — and we’ll be honest about whether we think we’re the right fit for your situation.
We don’t require a minimum level of assets to begin a conversation. We don’t charge for the introductory meeting. And we don’t follow up aggressively if the timing isn’t right — this is a relationship, not a transaction, and it starts that way.
